2009 SEASON COMPLETE
Bengals Post League's Only Perfect Record at 7-0-0
The second season of the Haddon Township Flag Football Season ended on Sunday, June 7, under a sun-soaked field at the West Collingswood Heights Fields, completing a successful season of fun and growth for the League. "We truly appreciate everyone’s efforts to make each Sunday fun for the kids as well as a good learning experience," Said League President Eric Landgraf. "Our Coaches really stood up and were a wonderful influence on the kids this season."
When the day ended the Bengals came away as the Lague's only perfect team with a 7-0-0 record. The Packers had entered the final week, but played to a tie with the Chargers.
In the Rookie Division the Packers and Chargers game was a match-up of the Division's top two teams. In other Division action, the Patriots defeated the Panthers, the Falcons topped the Texans and the Colts beat the Cardinals.
The Bengals capped their perfect season and first place in the Semi-Pro Division with a win over the Buccaneers. Meanwhile, the 49ers finished 6-0-1 after win over the Jaguars. In the Division's other games, the Saints came marching in and topped the Raiders for their first win of the season, while the Rams defeated the Redskins and the Vikings beat the Seahawks.
The Bears finished in first place in the All-Pro Division following a tie with the 2nd-place Jets. In the other Division action, the Bills defeated the Lions and the Browns beat the Broncos. In the Hall-of-Fame Division, the Dolphins topped the Ravens to cature 1st place in teh Division at 5-1-1, as the Steelers and Chiefs played to a tie. SKILLS DAY KICKS OFF 2009 SEASON
The 2009 Season is under way following Skills Day on March 22 at the League Fields at West Collingswood Heights. A beautiful early spring day greeted the 275 members of the League in a eight-station session exercising basic skills of flag football, as directed by the NFL's Youth Football Programs. "Today was a great success," said League President Eric Landgraf. "It was a terrific day to kick off the season." The League will now begin Division games next Sunday, March 29 as all 28 teams will be in action. Please check the League Schedules to find when your team plays.

28 TEAMS TO TAKE TO THE FIELD IN 2009 Growth In The League Expands Team Base The Haddon Township Youth Flag Football League has expanded from 22 to 28 teams for the 2009 Season, based on a 20% increase in registered players for the 2nd season of play. The Divisions which increased the most are the Rookie Division (Kindergarten & 1st Grade), which goes from 6 to 8 teams, and the Semi-Pro Division (2nd & 3rd Grades), which goes from 6 to 10 teams. The All-Pro Division (4th & 5th Grades) will remain a 6-team division, while the Hall-of-Fame Division (6th, 7th & 8th Grades) stays at 4 teams. Each team roster has been set following the player draft on March 11 by each team's coach. Once the team names have been set, the rosters will be posted on our website and the Coaches will be in contact with their players. The first formal session for the League will take place March 22 at the athletic field in West Collingswood Heights with Skills Day.
