Welcome to the Haddon Township Youth Flag Football League, a member of the Haddon Township Athletic Association. The League is sponsored by the National Football League and it's Youth Football Programs. Our League is open to all residents of Haddon Township currently in grades Kindergarten through 8th Grade and is designed to teach the fundamentals of football, while concentrating on fun. The 2010 League Season begins March 21 continues each Sunday until the first Sunday in June.
THIRD SEASON COMPLETE
Raiders and Steelers finish 7-0, while Bills go 6-0-1 The third season of the Haddon Township Youth Flag Football League is in the books and the Raiders and Steelers each won every game and finished with a perfect 7-0 record. Meanwhile, the Bills went undefeated as well with a 6-0-1 record. Other teams with a strong season with 6-1 records were the Cowboys in the Semi-Pro Division and the Chargers in the All-Pro Division.
"This was another terrific season," said League President Eric Landgraf, "and I would like to thank each and every coach for taking the time to be part of the Haddon Township Flag Football program. Our Board truly appreciates the time and patience you provide to our kids. We hope the skills learned here encourages them to compete in sports all the way through hiiiigh school."
In the Rookie Division the 49ers topped the Seahawks, the Panthers defeated the Buccaneers, the Cardinals beat the Rams and the Falcons won over the Saints. The Raiders finished 7-0 on the season in the Semi-Pro Division after defeating the Eagles, which prompted the Eagles to dismiss their defensive coordinator following the game and a 1-6 record. In other Division action, the Vikings won against the Bears, the Cowboys defeated the Lions, and the Redskins beat the Giants.
In the All-Pro Division, the Steelers matched the Raiders with a perfect 7-0 record after winning a close game over the Chiefs. In other Division games, the Chargers beat the Browns and the Bengals topped the Ravens. In the Hall-of-Fame Division the Bills finished the season undefeated with a 6-0-1 record after defeating the Jets, while the Patriots won the Division's other game against the Dolphins.
